UEMS Annual ORL Section and Board Meeting
Warsaw 29.09 – 1.10.2017

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I am pleased to invite you to Warsaw, a city that has been the capital of Mazovia Province for nearly 500 years and the capital of Poland for over 400 years.
New Town, where MaMaison Hotel Le Regina Warsaw is located, is one of the oldest parts of Warsaw. We will therefore be stationed in the historic center, where every stone and every street testifies to the city’s splendor, to the city’s destruction during the war, and to the efforts of Warsaw residents to restore the monuments and the atmosphere of the capital.
I firmly believe that we will find time for both intensive work on the scientific program prepared by the Board of the UEMS ORL Section as well as for visiting Warsaw’s most important sights located within a few minutes’ walk from the conference venue. I would also like to invite you to visit the Otolaryngology Clinic of the Medical University of Warsaw, which will soon be celebrating 100 years anniversary.
The Accompanyers will be provided with an interesting social program, including a walk through the Royal Gardens – the Royal Łazienki, a visit to the Old Town and the Royal Castle as well as to memorials related to the World War II history. We will also offer them assistance in organizing individual visiting programs at their convenience.
Staying in the very center of the Polish capital will allow you to familiarize yourself with the rich history and cultural heritage of the city as well as with the inspirational present created by free people of the „Common Europe”.
